Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking a talented, professional Java and Web Developer to join a proficient development team
-Assist in developing new modules into a medium-sized Web application designed as a JSP/Servlets application built with the Spring/Hibernate framework and using Java beans, javascript programming techniques and CSS for visualizations.
-Responsible for performing Web development in a J2SE/J2EE environment.
-Share ideas and provide input during the development process.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred) or related field
-Requires 7 years of related experience
-Proficient in Web Services, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, BEA
-WebLogic/J2EE application server administration (or similar).
-Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
-Proficient in translating requirements into design and developing applications
-Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
-Willingness to initiate new ideas for process improvement
-Ability to work independently and in a team setting
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent English-language oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
-Previous work experience in Java, Servlets, JSP, AJAX, HTML/JavaScript, and SQL in a professional business environment
-Strong knowledge and experience with BEA WebLogic server and Oracle databases required.
-Able to perform technical tasks independently and as a team member.
-Strong written and oral English communications skills.
-Able to adapt to the current lifecycle workflow, in our iterative release process.

-Certified Java developer is a PLUS
